FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne’s biggest event of the year kicks off tomorrow.

Event coordinator Jack Hammer says the 48th annual Three Rivers Festival, which includes live music, a parade, a carnival and more, has a huge impact on Indiana’s second-biggest city:

“Each summer, depending on the weather, the festival will bring in between 400,000 and 500,000 people,” Hammer says. “Over the last 48 years, it’s taken on a life of its own. It’s a machine.”

The festival runs through Saturday, July 16th, in downtown Fort Wayne. It kicks off with a ribbon cutting tomorrow morning at 11am. Find out more here.
