FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Fort Wayne’s south side last night.

Police were called to a home on Philley Avenue, about a block east of the Allen County SPCA, at about 7:40pm after a robbery happened outside the home and ended with a man being shot.

They found the man inside a vehicle a short distance away on South Hanna Street. He was taken to a local hospital and was last reported in critical condition.

Witnesses say two men were seen running eastbound from the scene after gunshots were heard.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
