FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police are searching for suspects who are accused of driving into ZX Gun and stealing firearms.
A store employee said an vehicle drove through a window at ZX Gun on West Coliseum Boulevard near Sherman Boulevard between at about 5 a.m. Wednesday. The suspects gained access to the store and took off with an undisclosed amount of firearms.
Around 5:04 a.m., an officer said he went to the store on reports of an alarm with multiple trips. When the officers arrived, they entered the store but didn’t find anyone inside. Officers did find a black backpack and car jack at the scene.
After clearing the store, the officers received word that a suspicious vehicle with a door wide open had been reported about a block away. A Fort Wayne officer went and checked the vehicle, which was a white Mazda. It was parked in the middle of the road still running.
The Mazda had damage to the taillight on the driver’s side and broken class on the windshield wiper. Police believe it was the car used to break into ZX Gun.
A witness at the scene said a red passenger car left with no lights on. Police later learned, a car matching that description was reported stolen in Indianapolis earlier this week.
A store employee said there are multiple cameras inside the store.

This should be called a Burglary instead of a robbery. The business was closed and unoccupied at the time.
Apparently this person decided gun laws were already to tough and knew that they would fail a check.
Again… laws will not stop people like this from finding a way to obtain firearms. It only stops law abiding people.
Criminals will always have guns. What stops a criminal with a gun? A law abiding citizen with a gun.
