Police seek vehicle belonging to Fort Wayne woman found dead in Antwerp

PAULDING COUNTY, Ohio (WOWO): Police in Paulding County are looking for the vehicle that belonged to a Fort Wayne woman whose body was found in Antwerp Monday.

Sheriff Jason Landers says a red Pontiac Sunfire driven by 44-year-old Wilma Schwartz is “very important” to their investigation, and is asking anyone who sees one that appears to be abandoned to call police immediately. He’s also asking any area wrecker services that may have come across the vehicle to report it.

It may have a fake Indiana plate attached.

Schwartz’s body was found by a contractors who were hired to demolish a building on some abandoned property. Police believe she died elsewhere and her body was then placed there.
