One killed in Fort Wayne crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Fort Wayne yesterday.

Fort Wayne Police say they were called to the intersection of Ludwig and Huguenard Roads at around 5:30pm between a car and a jeep. The jeep, which was headed north on Huguenard, apparently slammed into the car, which pulled into the jeep’s path. The car then left the road and hit a utility box and utility pole.

Both drivers were conscious when police arrived, but the driver of the car died later at an area hospital. His identity has not yet been released.
