(Spencer Marsh/95.3 MNC)

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WOWO): The Notre Dame community is mourning the death of a student this week at her off-campus home.

The University informed students and employees Wednesday that 21 year-old Theresa Sagartz, a junior from Albequerque, New Mexico, had been found dead in her home. No other details were immediately available.

University President the Reverend John Jenkins asked the Notre Dame community to keep Sagartz and her family in their thoughts and prayers. Notre Dame was on spring break this week. A Mass in her memory will take place when students return to campus next week. University counseling services are available to any student or faculty who wishes to speak with someone.
