MOBI plans to add more than 500 Hoosier jobs

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): Another Indiana company is expanding and is creating more Hoosier jobs.

MOBI, an Indiana based company, is expanding operations and creating up to 521 new jobs by 2020, according to the governor’s office.

“Indiana’s tech industry is adding jobs three times faster than the national average, and that is a testament to the drive and determination of Hoosiers,” said Governor Mike Pence.

The company, which was founded in 2009, plans to invest $11.51 million in its office space at Northwest Technology Park in Zionsville. Th money will be used to increased its footprint from 60,000-square-feet to more than 110,000-square-feet.

MOBI provides companies with software and services to manage mobility. It already employs more than 300 associates and plans to hire for different positions over the next five years. The positions are expected to offer average salaries above Boone County average wage.

On Wednesday, Monogram Foods announced plans to create 74 new Hoosier jobs.
