FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne is getting just over a million dollars from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
A press release issued by HUD lists the Fort Wayne Housing Authority among a number of recipients getting a share of $23-million in funding to improve and preserve public housing in Indiana through capital improvement projects.
The grants are coming through HUD’s Capital Fund Program, which offers annual funding to approximately 3,100 public housing authorites across the country.
