FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): There’s a special event offering a look at plans for the centerpiece of Fort Wayne’s riverfront development tomorrow night.

The Fort Wayne Downtown Development Trust will host an event called “The Landing Unveiled” at the Arts united Center at 6 p.m.

During the event the latest renderings and design concepts of The Landing project will be unveiled, including renderings for surrounding projects like riverfront development, redevelopment of the Arts United campus, and the Superior Lofts project.

The Trust has selected the development firm Model Group to handle the redevelopment of the Landing, citing their work on the “Over-the-Rhine” community in Cincinnati.

City officials want The Landing to cement downtown Fort Wayne as “a regional destination for all of northeast Indiana.”
