Avoid these roads during the Three Rivers Festival

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Three Rivers Festival will bring junk food, carnival rides and road closures to Fort Wayne.

There will be multiple street closures during the week of July 8 to July 16 because of the Three Rivers Festival. Vehicles found in these areas could get ticketed or towed.

From 7 p.m. July 8 through 11 p.m. July 16

  • The left curb lane of South Clinton Street by Headwaters Park from the MLK Bridge to Superior Street.

From 6 p.m. July 8 through 11 p.m. July 10 -Art in the Park

  • East Main Street from Clinton Street to Lafayette Street
  • Barr Street from Main Street to Berry Street

From 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 9 – Three Rivers Opening Day Parade

  • West Wayne Street from Thieme Drive to Fairfield Avenue
  • West Main Street from Runnion Avenue to Lafayette Street
  • Van Buren Street from Superior Street to Washington Bolevard
  • Fairfield Avenue from Superior Street to Wayne Street
  • Ewing Street from Main Street to Wayne Street
  • Harrison Street from Clinton Street to Fairfield Avenue
  • Superior Street from Clinton Street to Harrison Street
  • Barr Street from Main Street to Berry Street

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 13 – Bed Races

  • East Main Street from Lafayette Street to Clinton Street

From 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. July 16 -Three Rivers Festival Fireworks

  • Calhoun Street from Jefferson Street to Berry Street
  • Wayne Street from Harrison Street to Clinton Street
  • Washington Bolevard from Clinton Street to Harrison Street
