2 people arrested in connection to 3 Fort Wayne murders

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Police Department have arrested two people in connection to three murders.

Darrell McDaniel, 19, and Artavius Richards, 19, were arrested on preliminary charges of three counts of murder, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

They are accused of killing three men “execution style” in February. At the end of February, police found the bodies of 23-year-old Mohamedtaha Omar, 20-year-old Adam Kamel Mekki and 17-year-old Muhannad Adam Tairab. They were all shot multiple times in “execution style.”

All three men were Muslim, but police said there was not reason to believe religion played a factor in the murders.
