FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A person died after an apartment fire on Monday morning.

At about 9:20 a.m. Monday, crews were called to the 900 block of Tennessee Avenue on reports of an apartment fire, according to our news partners at 21Alive.

Firefighters found one person dead inside the apartment and dragged the person out. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

This is the fourth fire in Fort Wayne since Sunday.
