FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The first Presidential Debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton is Monday.

Professor Mike Wolf of the Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics at IPFW tells WOWO news, it’s a big deal for both candidates

“This is when we first see some of the real issue differences head to head, if it’s moderated well and we get some real policy oriented questions,” Wolf said.

He also says viewers can expect more pressure to be on Clinton than Trump. “One of the big aspects of these debates, is how you preform relative to expectations… that is going to be a big issue and she is an experienced politician,” Wolf said. “Expectations are going to be high of her, more high of her than of him.”

Either way, Wolf says this first debate can go a long way toward determining each candidate’s momentum heading into the November elections. The debate begins at 9:00 p.m.

You can listen to WOWO’s live coverage beginning at 8:00 p.m.
