WOWO Pothole Patrol: Our study Finds City Completes 85% of Potholes in 24 hours or Less

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): There are more than 1,400 miles of streets in Fort Wayne… and it seems like five times that many potholes. We went out to find them.

Well, we found plenty and settled on about 20 all over over the city specifically to see how they'd be repaired.

One area on northbound Maplecrest Road was a string of potholes that stretched more than 100 feet. No problem, it was filled. Another downtown on Washington at Clinton, was repaired before we had time to call it in.  When we were finished close to 85 to 90 percent were done with in one day or less.

By the way, we haven't seen the worst of it, officials say they are bracing for real problem with potholes in the next couple weeks.
