WOWO Penny Pitch Gets “Matching” Challenge

Morning host Charly Butcher (left) interviews Bruce Dye.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) _ A big announcement made this morning concerning the annual WOWO Penny Pitch effort:

“Last year, Penny Pitch raised $130,000. If it does it this year, I will match, dollar for dollar, what WOWO's Penny Pitch raises,” says Bruce Dye of Brigadoon Fitness.

The annual effort raises money for local non-profits and charities in the Fort Wayne/Allen County  region. Dye says the community needs the help, and that's why he's doing this:

“There are many, many needs in the community. About three or four weeks ago, I was walking and thought it would be great if there were some way to get others involved.”
