World’s Largest Christmas Project Opens Collection Sites in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Several locations in the Fort Wayne area will serve as collection sites for Operation Christmas Child this year. The charity helps millions of children in need around the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and notes of encouragement.

Through local collection points, Fort Wayne residents hope to contribute more than 16,700 gift-filled shoeboxes to the 2014 global goal of reaching 10 million  children.
