Woman Trapped in Vehicle Around 12 Hours

ELKHART, Ind. (WOWO): State police say troopers tracked cellphone signals to find a woman who was trapped in her SUV in Elkhart for around 12 hours after going off the road and down an embankment. Police started looking for Loreena Storer of Elkhart after her husband called about 11:00 last night to report her missing. Officials were able to track her cellphone signal to near the Elkhart Municipal Airport. Two troopers began searching on foot and found her SUV 30 feet off the road in a wooded area about 1:00 this morning. Storer had been trapped since yesterday afternoon. She was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with cuts and trauma to her head and face. A hospital spokeswoman says she has been transferred.
