Woman Rescued From Flood Waters

CROTHERSVILLE, Ind. (WOWO):  Indiana Conservation Officers came to the rescue of a woman who drove into deep flood waters.

Around 4 p.m. Saturday officers received a call of a stranded driver.  43 year old Teresa Hilton was traveling on County Road 400S outside of Crothersville in Jackson County when flood waters stalled her truck.  She was found standing on the roof of her Chevy S-10 pickup when Conservation Officers arrived.  An airboat was deployed to help in the rescue.

As a reminder,  Indiana Conservation Officers strongly encourage motorists to avoid driving through standing or flowing high water.
