FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne woman has been charged after being accused of punching a 12-year-old girl in the face. The charge was filed yesterday against 29-year-old Angelicia Merriweather, who allegedly punched a young girl twice during a tirade earlier this month, that according to The Journal Gazette. Police say on June 19th, Merriweather was outside her home yelling about being jumped, when she decided to start throwing things at a boy who was in his own yard nearby. When she was asked to leave by the boy's mom, she started punching the woman's daughter. Merriweather is now in police custody.
