FORT WAYNE, Indiana (Indiana’s NewsCenter)-Fort Wayne police are asking for the public’s help catching a man who assaulted a jogger Saturday morning on the River Greenway near Lower Huntington Road and Tillman Road. 

Police say the female jogger was assaulted by a young Black man. A passing motorist came to her aid and the suspect fled north along the River Greenway.

The suspect is described as a Black man, 18 to 23 years old, about 5’ 10” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a gray Ohio State sweatshirt with baggy red shorts. Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to notify police.
