FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Allen County and the surrounding area. The special weather statement will remain in effect through noon Tuesday. During this time 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected, along with considerable blowing and drifting snow which will make driving difficult.

A Winter Weather Travel Advisory has also been issued for the unincorporated areas of Allen County. The Advisory was issued due to the numerous accidents and slide-offs on county highways Tuesday morning. Drivers are urged to use caution.
