Winter Weather Advisory in Effect for Southern Indiana

INDIANA, (WOWO): A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the southern half of Indiana.

 

National Weather Service Meteorologist Chad Swain says it‘ll remain in effect until 8:00 p.m., Friday night. Swain says central Indiana could see up to three inches of snow by the time it‘s over and southern Indiana could see four to six inches.

 

Swain says areas north of Fort Wayne shouldn't see much snow, but another snow event is expected Saturday evening. Central Indiana could see an inch of snow, but expect a warm up next week with temperatures hitting the mid – 40's Monday/Tuesday and mid – 50's by Thursday/Friday.
