FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued starting 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service tells WOWO News that snow, sleet and freezing rain, along with an already cold ground could all be a problem through the overnight hours until it starts to warm up during the day. Light ice accumulations could happen, with up to a tenth of an inch possible.
INDOT says they will adjust its call out of manpower, trucks and materials as needed. They also say you should watch for black ice or slick spots from freezing rain. INDOT employees are on call to staff plow trucks around the clock, along with yellow salt trucks.
