Wife, Two Others Face Murder Charges in Greenwood Man’s Death

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Police say the wife of a slain Indianapolis-area man is one of three people charged with murder in the case.

Indianapolis police say Opal Williams conspired with her boyfriend, Ricky King, and his cousin, Charles Lehman, in the slaying. They say all three face murder charges and were being held Monday at the Arrestee Processing Center.

The body of 52-year-old Steven Williams of Greenwood was found under a bridge and rolled up in a carpet late Thursday on the Indianapolis south side.

Investigators say King and Lehman fatally stabbed Steven Williams and that Opal Williams orchestrated the crime.

Jail records did not indicate whether any of the three have an attorney who can comment on the case. Their ages and hometowns were not immediately available.
