Whiting Man, 28, Fatally Stabbed During Bar Fight

HIGHLAND, Ind. (AP) – Authorities are searching for the suspect who fatally stabbed a 28-year-old man during a bar fight in northwest Indiana.

Officers arrived at Franco's Bar in Highland early Sunday morning and found Joshua Headley of Whiting with at least one stab wound to the chest. He was taken to Munster Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Highland Police Cmdr. George Georgeff says the stabbing occurred in a hallway after a large fight broke out at the bar. He says the crowd had dispersed before police arrived.

An investigation is ongoing. No one was in custody as of early Monday morning.
