Wells Fargo Bank robbed second time this week

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A Wells Fargo branch in Fort Wayne has been robbed for the second time this week.

The Wells Fargo Bank, on W. State Blvd. near Sherman Blvd., was robbed this morning around 11:40 a.m.

A man entered the bank, handed the teller a note demanding money, and walked away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

This comes after a similar incident took place at the same bank earlier this week.

Police are still searching for Monday’s suspect in addition to Friday’s.

The man suspected of robbing the bank Monday is described as a white man in his early 20’s, 5’5″ – 5’8″ tall, wearing a gray hooded Nike sweatshirt with black sleeves. He had on a black baseball cap, blue jeans and black high-top athletic shoes.

 

Friday’s suspect is believed to have been a black man in his 20’s, 5’10” to six feet tall, with a black hooded sweatshirt with gray trim and an Afro.
