Waynedale Interested in Forming Chamber of Commerce

WAYNEDALE, Ind. (WOWO): A Chamber of Commerce could soon be coming to the city of Waynedale.

According to the Journal Gazette, the organization is inspired by the several hundred businesses in the city. There is already a Waynedale Improvement Committee that advocates for residential areas. The Chamber of Commerce would serve to attract new businesses, according to Alex Cornwell who runs the Waynedale News.</span>

The monthly meetings would focus on improving the town, located near the southwest side of Fort Wayne. That includes Bluffton Road from Nuttman Avenue to Airport Expressway, and from Winchester Road to Smith Road.

The first meeting for the Waynedale Business Chamber will be Thursday, July 9th at 2 p.m. at the Waynedale Public Library, located at 2200 Lower Huntington Road.
