WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Wright’s Countryside Kennel (formerly known as Rhodes Countryside Kennel) is offering space for outside dogs.

The owner says they have empty kennels that will be used as an animal warming center this week free of charge. Their facility is heated and has access to fresh water for the pets.

If anyone needs a warm, safe place for their pets this week in these frigid temperatures they can call 574-328-2366 to make arrangements with the kennel.

The Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County is also assisting Warsaw residents in finding a place for outdoor pets, but had to close on Wednesday. They advise calling Kosciusko Central Dispatch at 574-267-9511 for anyone who needs help transporting animals.
