Voting registration deadline for Indiana’s primary is approaching

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Since the first votes were casts for the 2016 election season on Feb. 1, the presidential races have dominated headlines.

Soon it’ll be Indiana’s turn to weigh in on the remaining presidential candidates. Because Indiana’s primary is May 3, residents only have about a week to register to vote. The deadline is Monday, April 4.

There are a couple ways to register to vote in the Hoosier state.

  • Online
  • Print the application and mail it in. If you live in Allen County mail it to: 1 E Main St., Suite 176 Fort Wayne, IN 46802.
  • In person at the BMV, your county’s voter registration office, at the Indiana Election Division or at the local voter registration drives.
