KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Early Monday morning, the tour bus for county music singer, Jason Aldean, fatally hit 49-year-old Albert Kennedy.

According to the Indianapolis Star, the accident happened around 1:30 a.m. on U.S. 41 in Knox County.  Kennedy, of Vincennes, was walking along the road when he was hit by the bus. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

On Aldean’s Facebook page, he made a post about the accident.

“With a heavy heart, I'm sad to say that a man passed away last night after stepping out in front of my bus in Indiana,” the post said. “In all the years I’ve been touring and all the miles we’ve driven, nothing prepares you for something like this to happen. I’m praying for Albert Kennedy’s family and friends today and ask that you do the same.”
