FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One person has been charged in the death of Jude Lamb, but but new details suggest another person may have been involved.

The 35 year old was killed this week when he was hit by a vehicle in the southeast side of down. But new court documents obtained by the Journal-Gazette seem to suggest Lamb was actually hit by two vehicles.

A witness going to a store in the area of South Anthony and Hollis Lane says she observed what she thought was a statue in the southbound lanes of Anthony. She also saw two vehica, racing side-by-side.

One of those vehicles hit “the statue” and the witness says she saw the silver car “bounce up and down twice with two thuds.” Alejandro Gaytan, 36, is accused of coming by later in a green sports-utility vehicle and running Lamb over. He reportedly told his girlfriend he couldn’t avoid Lamb, who likely was still alive before Gaytan hit him.

There’s no word on who or where the driver of the silver car could be. Gaytan has been officially charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
