FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Coroner's Office has identified the victim of Monday's accident on Bluffton Road.
57 year old Daniel Jackson of Fort Wayne was riding his moped on southbound Bluffton Road at about 2:45 PM Monday afternoon between Brooklyn and Engle Streets. His moped crashed after an SUV turned in front of the moped.
Jackson died at the scene and investigators were on the scene for a few hours Monday afternoon.
The coroner's office says Jackson was not wearing his helmet and died due to blunt force trauma. Jackson's death is the 9th traffic fatality in Allen County this year.
