UPDATE: Wanted Suspect Captured in Kosciusko County

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Two people were arrested last night in Kosciusko County and a third suspect had been sought after a foot pursuit ensued.  Officers went to a home in Warsaw on a warrant check.  43-year-old Thomas Edward Skeens left the area and police caught up with him this morning after his vehicle had gotten stuck in high water.  Officers said Skeens then ran into the woods where he slipped away.  He’s was wanted for misdemeanor battery and felony possession of precursors with intent to manufacture meth.  Additional charges cold be filed for fleeing and eluding law enforcement.

An anonymous tip from a citizen allowed sheriff’s deputies and an Indiana State Trooper to apprehend Skeens near the intersection of Main and Columbia Streets after he had left a local business.  Skeens was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.
