UPDATE: Two Victims from Decatur Road Shooting Identified

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two men, DeAndrew Moore and Devonte Jones, have been identified as the victims involved in a shooting Tuesday afternoon on Decatur Road near Dawnan Drive.

 

According to police, Moore and Jones were found laying in the roadway with apparent gunshot wounds, outside their vehicle. Both men were alert and concisions and said they were driving down Decatur Road, when they were suddenly shot at. Jones and Moore stated that the suspect may have been shooting from a nearby home, but neither of them knew who was shooting at them.  

 

Their car traveled off of Decatur Road and then came to a stop at the base of a telephone pole in a snowdrift near the Tamera Place subdivision entrance.

 

Both men were taken to a local hospital in fair condition.

 

Multiple shell casings were collected from the crime scene and so far police have no suspects, but the investigation continues.
