FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Early Sunday morning, police were called to a residence on Albany Court in reference to shots fired.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, once officers arrived on the scene, they found a man inside the residence with a gunshot wound to his knee.

The victim, Jeremy Chagoya, claimed that he was meeting a woman he met on Craigslist. The woman stated that she had to step outside for a moment, when she did so, she came back in with a masked man holding a gun.

Chagoya said he offered them his belongings, but the masked man shot him anyway. The woman and then left.  In the meantime, the investigation continues.
