UPDATE: Sheriff’s Department Searches for Suspect in Armed Robbery at IAB Bank

HARLAN, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Sheriff's Department is looking for the suspect in a bank robbery Monday morning. Around 9:00 A.M., the Sheriff's Department responded to a panic alarm at IAB Bank on SR 37 in Harlan. Police say a white man, armed with a black handgun and wearing a black mask went into the bank and demanded money. The suspect then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and got into a white two-door car driven by another man. The two then left the scene, heading toward Spencerville. The robbery suspect is described as a thin white man between the ages of 20 and 35, and standing about 5'7″. Anyone with information is asked to call the Allen County Sheriff’s Department at 449-3000.
