UPDATE: Robbery Reported at Chase Bank on East State Blvd

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police continue investigating a robbery at the Chase Bank on East State Boulevard near Hobson Road.

Police were called to the scene shortly after 11:00 a.m., Saturday morning, on report of a suspicious person. Once on the scene police learned that the bank had been robbed. According to police, suspect is described as a white man, standing just over 6 feet tall, dressed in blue work-type coveralls from head to toe. He was wearing a mask and gloves. The suspect left on foot going west toward Santa Rosa Dr. with money. He was carrying a bag.

In the meantime, officers are interviewing witnesses along with bank employees and they're studying surveillance video.

There was a white Dodge or Chrysler minivan with tinted windows that was seen in the area about 30 minutes before the incident that police say may be of interest.
