UPDATE: Police Situation Near Downtown Ends, Roads Back Open

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police are questioning three people after a nearly three-hour standoff north of downtown.

Just before 12 Noon, police were called to home in the 2300 block of North Clinton Street, after witnesses say a woman was seen crying for help from the second floor.

According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, officers were unable to make contact with the residents.

Ultimately special units with the police department entered the home, a short time later a woman and two men left the home in custody.

The incident tied up traffic near the intersection of State Boulevard and Spy Run.

Students at nearby North Side High School placed on a precautionary lockout and safely dismissed later.
