UPDATE: Police Discover Possible Getaway Vehicle in Antwerp Bank Robbery

                      


ANTWERP, Ohio. (WOWO): A robbery at an Antwerp, Ohio bank has police searching for two armed and dangerous suspects.


Wednesday morning, around 8:45 a.m., on County Road 424 east of Antwerp, the GenFed Credit Union called for help when police say two men tried to rob the bank.


The suspects are describe as black males. One was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with blue jeans and white tennis shoes. The other suspect is described as wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.


According to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Department, the suspects were last seen in a gray Chevy Impala. If you see any suspicious activity, you're asked to call police.


UPDATE:

Late Wednesday night, police discovered a vehicle that matched the description of the car was used as a getaway vehicle.

One man was taken into questioning, but so far, no charges have been filed.
