UPDATE: One Dead, Six Injured After Crash in North Webster

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): We now know more into a fatal crash in Kosciusko County Sunday afternoon. Officials were called around 3:21 P.M. to SR 13 in North Webster where 39-year-old Jeremy Valentine of Pennsylvania was pronounced dead from blunt force trauma. An early investigation shows that a truck driven by 29-year-old Matthew Wagoner, of Syracuse, was going north and crossed the center line. His vehicle hit a southbound minivan, driven by Valentine, who was killed upon impact. Wagoner's vehicle caught fire and was extinguished by several area fire departments after the diesel fuel tank ignited. Wagoner and his passengers, a 2-year-old and 5-year-old, were all taken to Parkview hospital, where the 5-year-old was last listed in critical condition.


There were three passengers in Valentine's vehicle: 38-year-old Seana Valentine, and a 9-year-old and 7-year-old. All three were taken to Lutheran Hospital. Seana Valentine was classified as being in very critical condition.


The crash is still currently under investigation pending legal alcohol & drug results of drivers.
