UPDATE: Fire at Glenbrook Square Extinguished

 

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A fire broke out Saturday afternoon around 3:45 p.m., at Glenbrook Square Mall, inside a storage room with multiple storage units. Fire sprinklers were activated in the area and kept the fire in check until firefighters arrived. They extinguished the blaze in 31 minutes.

The mall was evacuated during the incident and around 5:30 p.m. employees were able to return inside. The mall is open to the public with minimal restrictions in the affected area. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
