UPDATE: Early Morning Standoff Ends Without Injury

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A police standoff on the south side of town has ended without injury.

It started on Oneida Street where a man and woman were involved in a domestic dispute. At 1:24 a.m. police were called and spoke to a female who accused 21 year old Tracey Salter of Fort Wayne of domestic battery.

In the mean time, another female drove Salter to South Bridge Apartments on Lakeside Drive off of Hanna Street, where the man barricaded himself inside of an apartment. The female victim later drove back to the apartment and flagged down security after leaning Salter was locked inside the apartment.

He's currently being held on an outstanding felony warrant. Additional charges are said to be forthcoming. No injuries were reported.

Residents in the apartment complex were evacuated during the incident for safety reasons. The incident remains under investigation.
