UPDATE: Body Pulled from Defiance County River

DEFIANCE, Ohio (WOWO): Early results of an autopsy this morning indicates a man pulled from the Auglaize River in Defiance County, Ohio Monday is drowning related.

According to officers with the Defiance County Sheriff's Department, the body of 28-year-old Mark Esparza of Defiance, was recovered from the river south of downtown behind Riverside Cemetery on Monday. Just before 6:00 p.m., last night, officers received reports about the body being spotted.

The investigation continues as authorities await the results of toxicology reports.
