UPDATE: Barricade Situation on Esmond at Pontiac Resolved

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):The barricade situation from Thursday morning has been resolved. No injuries have been reported. Crews are still at the scene cleaning up.

Fort Wayne Police are on the scene Thursday morning of a barricade situation. Officers were called around 1:30 A.M. to Esmond Street at Pontiac where a man was barricaded inside his home. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, the man has told police that he has a gun and that he will either shoot himself or police if police try to go inside the home. As a result of the situation, Calhoun Street is shut down between Pontiac and Wildwood. We'll keep you updated on this story.
