UPDATE: 2 Indiana Inmates Recaptured After Leaving From Trash Crew

COLUMBUS, Ind. (AP) _ The Indiana Department of Correction says two inmates walked away from a trash pickup crew in south central Indiana have been recaptured.
 
IDOC spokesman Ike Randolph says 23-year-old Cody Morris and 23-year-old Troy Thomas were recaptured Wednesday afternoon along near the Johnson County town of Amity, about 30 miles south of Indianapolis. U.S. 31 in Johnson County south of Indianapolis. They were missing about six hours after slipping away from the trash crew in the Columbus area.
 
Both men were incarcerated at the minimum-security prison in Edinburgh. Morris is serving a two-year sentence for car theft and receiving stolen property. Thomas is serving 18 months for car theft.
 
Both men were wearing prison-issued yellow jumpsuits while working with the trash crew.
