Undercover heroin deal leads to arrest of two Celina residents

CELINA, Ohio (WOWO): Two people form Celina, Ohio, were arrested Tuesday after police say they were trafficking drugs, including heroin.

Jessica Hicks, 30, and Richard Swartzel, 32, were both arrested on felony drug trafficking charges, according to Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.

An undercover cop bought heroin from the two at about 3:40 p.m. Monday at a house on Touvelle Street in Celina, the sheriff’s office said.

During the undercover operation, officers secured the house until a search warrant was issued.

Police said they found used and unused syringes, suspected meth, assorted prescription medication, multiple empty capsules with suspected heroin residue inside, cash and various drug paraphernalia in the house.
