Undercover Drug Purchases Lead to Arrests in Warsaw & Winona Lake

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): The Warsaw Narcotics Team located loads of drugs at a Winona Lake residence after several undercover operations.

The team had been conducting purchases of illegal drugs from individuals at the residence. That led them to the 110 block of N. Union Drive, where several suspects were arrested.

According to a press release, officers seized seventeen grams of cocaine, eleven grams of heroin, money, and a handgun. The arrests also led them to another location on the south side of Warsaw, where additional underground purchases had been made.

A K-9 Unit let police know there were illegal drugs at the Warsaw location. There, they located 22 grams of heroin and additional drugs.

Police have reason to believe the individuals supply a significant amount of drugs to the Kosciusko County area.
