FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Narcotics were discovered at the scene of a shooting last night, resulting in two men dead and one woman wounded.  

An autopsy performed determined that one of the men who was killed, 26-year-old Sidney Gates, died from stab wounds. 21-year-old DaShawn Martin died from gunshot wounds. Both men are from Fort Wayne.

Fort Wayne police were called just after 8:00 p.m. last night to the Brookmill Court Apartments near the intersection of Covington and Brooklyn Avenue. 

They arrived to find the men and one woman outside the apartment suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  The two men were transported to a local hospital, but were pronounced dead upon arrival.  

The woman, who was in a neighboring apartment when shots were fired, is currently in fair condition.

Police believe the incident to be drug-related. Along with that, detectives have yet to identify one man, who was seen running from the apartment home.  His role in this incident also remains under investigation.

The two men are the 27th and 28th homicides of the year in Allen County.
