FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority officials have reached an agreement with Uber, which will allow the ridesharing service and its drivers to pick up passengers at Fort Wayne International Airport.

“Uber’s availability at FWA increases our ground transportation options for our passengers, continuing our commitment to deliver excellent customer service to everyone who travels through our airport,” said Scott Hinderman, Executive Director of Airports for the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority.

Uber drivers are not required to display a permit to pick-up passengers, but must have their Uber credentials on-hand if needed.

Passenger pick-up will be at the curb in front of the terminal building.
