FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A dozen high schools in northeast Indiana are included in a list of the best schools in the country.
The list is compiled by U.S. News and World Report's as part of a feature on “America's Best Schools.”
Six schools earned silver medals. Wabash County's Manchester High School was ranked 11th in the state, and the highest in the area. Also on the list were Carroll, South Adams, Westview, Wawasee and Warsaw.
Bronze medals were given to six other schools: Bellmont, Garrett, Tippecanoe Valley, Prairie Heights, West Noble and Wabash.
